Roughly 4 litres to the gallon.
There are roughly 600 millilitres in a pint -
Canadian or American gallon? 3.785 litres in American gallon. 4.546 litres in Canadian gallon.

I can never remember most of those metric conversions so the calculator comes in handy.
liter is a little bit more than a quart..
3.785 is a closer answer
And - 3.785 litres to teh US liquid gallon - I looked it up!
Isn't a gallon the same everywhere? If not, I'm looking at American gallon.

This is confusing me now. I was having a debate with one of my American friends on the price of gas. The gas here is about $1 a liter and it costs me about $60 to fill my 20 gallon tank (American car/gallons). He says it costs him $40 to fill his 20 gallon tank in the US, so I was trying to figure out how much I paid per gallon.

The things you learn. US pints are different from UK pints. No wonder I get drunker in England. ;-)
I figured since it costs me $60 to fill a 20 gallon tank at $1 a liter, there were a little over 3 liters to the gallon.
I also have an American car bought in the US, so my 20 gallon tank is 20 US gallons.

You and me both! Like the world isn't confusing enough, eh ;-)
750ml is stil about a fifth.
Since I spent most of my life in the US and was use to everything being in gallons, pints, quarts, etc, I don't think I'll ever get use to this metric stuff.
