Data

The projects draws on a number of data sets that trace the issue agendas of different actors across several decades. They are all based on content coding of the issues on the agendas, making it possible to measure the amount of attention different issues receive on different agendas.

All datasets, except the radionews, are coded according to the Danish version of the Policy Agendas Codebook. A new version of this codebook was developed in 2013/2014 to match the international master codebook which has been developed.

All datasets therefore contain three topic codes: The first one is based on the old version of the codebook, which can be found here, The second one is based on the new version, which can be found here. The third one is based on the international master, CAP, codebook.

The data on parliamentary activities, opening and clothing speeches as well as party manifestos have recently been updated untill 2013. Access to the updated datafiles may be possible depending on the research purpose.
