This is my fresh product . I make this very rare to find Barndoor gas pedal for very early bus. This is steel material. This gas pedal was made in very limited edition because I made just 20 of them, and I didn't plane to make more of them in future.
So if you don't want to spend 500 - 600 usd for original you have chance to get very good repro part, with no body made until today. Please dont loose you chance and buy one for you car.

Very very nice vintage dealer poster featuring a barndoor samba. Appr. 1953.

The artist is Victor Mundorff. He made several posters etc for Volkswagen.

Barndoor front for sale at US $1000

NOS Barndoor Single Cab rear bumper for sale. This is a ribbed rear bumper for the pick up (Type 2/261) 1954 until 1958 only, it has the sharp corners to suit the square rear corner of the body. It is still in the packaging that I received it in 20+ years ago! That is why there is no picture. Bumper blade only, no splash shields or brackets.
$2500 or reasonable offer. Contact me before I list it on ebay!

I´m not sure but they seem to be a contemporary acsessory, obviously made for the barndoor bus, because they use the same mounting system as I have seen on other barndoor buses. It´s basically a three screw mounting system, as used by VW for the inside rear mirror in old buses and bugs.
Interestingly, altough the visors are matching (as mentioned they came out of the same bus) the plexiglass is of different colour. It seems that there was originally the possibility to change the glass to meet individual requirements. I took out one glass very carefully just to check if that would be possible. It was ... So one can get new plexiglass into the frames anyway. The darker greenish glass is somewhat dirty, obviously sombody left some rubber or plastic stuffed between roof and visors for a long time. Altough I tried to clean it, some "dirt" still is sort of glued to the plexiglass. One can leave it as patina or replace the whole glass. The visors chrome is in good condition altough on some spots you can see that it´s old. In my mind that´s patina of an original piece of time, but if one prefers a new look it´s not a problem at all because you can strip down the visors competely to its single parts for re-chroming. Obviously good old german craftmanship....
Visors are working on the basis of a ball which can be tightened by a screw meaning that you can swing the visors not only up and down but also left to right; way cool isn´t it?

Sadly the heating system itself was already missing when I got the bus and due to wrong storage (I left old fuel in the tank) over the years the tank rusted through at one spot. Nevertheless the rest of the tank is in sound condition and still retains the old original fuel tab (with an interesting logo quite similar to the old KDF-Style). It should not be a problem to repair the tank at a specialists workshop. I had the same problem with a motorcycle tank and a german company (http://www.tank-spezialist.de) refurbished it to as new condition.

For sale early barndoor deluxe corner trim
Fits both sides. This piece is attached directly to the corner body, due to the lack of a bumper on early deluxes.
The rubber is from a later model. I unfortunately do not have the original one.
