Firefly Rapid closing valves for process isolation

Firefly ultra fast isolation valves are used in the preventive protection system against fire and dust explosions. The purpose of the valve is to prevent glowing particles, sparks or flames from reaching high risk zones that ought to be protected, for example, filters, silos and cyclones as well as effectively protecting process areas to be made inert.
Firefly Isolation valves are very fast and sufficiently strong to withstand high pressure with a possible explosion.

Firefly Isolation valve FIV/PS-G has a guillotine design and a completely free bore. The valve is pressure controlled and is usually tripped by means of the pressure from a gas cylinder used for inertisation. The valve is intended for installation on pneumatic transport systems. The valve is available in different designs and dimensions.

Firefly Isolation valve BIV/PS has a throttle design with spring tensioned pneumatic controller which is electrically controlled. The valve is compact and is fitted between flanges. It is ideal for installation in piping transporting finely distributed materials, e.g. vacuum cleaning installations. The valve is available in different dimensions up to 0600 mm.

Firefly Isolation valve JIV/PS has a louvre design with spring tensioned pneumatic controller which is electrically controlled. Fitted in large size ducting or in systems where finely distributed material is transported at a high temperature. The valve is available in sizes up to 2x2 metres.
