Fun at Speed Zone
Scribona, the tour organizer, had arranged a fun day at Speed Zone just outside of LA. It was great fun. We tried 4 type of racing:
Fast Track - This is very fast gocarts.
Slick Track - This is not so fast gocarts, but we were running on slick tires, and on a very slippery surface. Great fun sliding those curves.
Formula 3 - Time trail in mine formular racers
Top Eliminator - This was THE event. 3 rides in a drag racer, that was fast and gave a kick... we all wanted more.

Universal Studios
We went to Universal studios twice. Once on a day off, spent an entire day there. It was great, once the ticket was bought, all attractions were free. We must have gone on a good day, there was not any long queues anywhere, only short waits.
Lots of rides to go through, easily spent the day there.
The second time was for the VMWorld attendee party. A night event where Vmware had booked the entire park. Lots of food and drinks everywhere, and all rides were open.
