Plans

Our 2023-litter have arrived:

We have this time been on a trip to Bourgogne south of Paris to find the father of our next litter. We really look forward to following the result of this combination, combining some dogs from the past that we really admire.

Thank you so much to Fabienne & Jean for making this litter possible and your hospitality! It was a wonderful revisit with the world famous Du Domaine De Chanteloup Kennel. We really cherish these visits to top breeders around Europe as we consider this the most valuable and important source of new knowledge about the breed, bloodlines and breeding in general. And we came home this time yet again filled up with new knowledge and inspiration.

Sire is the black stunning male:

FRCH Royal Secret Du Domaine De Chanteloup

Royal is carrying on the world famous Du Domaine De Chanteloup tradition in the best possible way. He is the result of carefully selection and breeding for generations.

In his pedigree we find some of our all-time favorites such as the black beauty CH Elegance Italienne Du Domaine De Chanteloup (grandmother) who besides being one of the most top winning dogs in France also has made her mark in the breeding. One generation further back we find pleasure in seeing the highly influential male CH Caprice Du Domaine De Chanteloup. One of our all-time favorites. When he was alive, we, unfortunately, never had a female that would make the right combination with him but seeing him in Royal´s pedigree really pleases us.
Royal also carry the influence from CH Be Bop Du Domaine De Chanteloup. One of the most influential males in the breeding as well as in the show ring. Only very few reach his level and becomes an icon in the breed.

We feel very privileged that Royal´s breeders trusted us to use him. We will do our very best to live up to their trust!

Temperament:
With a sweet and gentle temperament so characteristic for the breed, and very harmonious/easy living together with other dogs.

European Junior Winner 2019
Group winning SBIS

Breed Winner 2021/2022
Top Sighthound 2021
Vice World Winner, Madrid 2022

Il Cagnolino Lexia

Lexia is after the top winning CH Midnight Poison Du Domaine De Chanteloup and our own Il Cagnolino Inuccia. Half-brother to Lexia (also after Inuccia) is our all-time top winning WJW14 EUJW14 MULTICH Il Cagnolino Kenzo.

We had the pleasure to see Midnight Poison again at 6 years of age at the European Dog Show in Paris, 2022. And he didn´t disappoint at all! So, sound, and well-constructed as only very few are. Midnight Poison is after World Winner 2013 Grisabella Du Domaine De Chanteloup, and she is after the beautiful Bella Stella Du Domaine De Chanteloup. Among her credits are National Specialty Best In Show 2008, under breed specialist Mrs. Bitte Ahrens Primavera, of Sobers Fame.

Inuccia is after World Winner MultiCH Valerio Dei Raggi Di Luna (No. 2 all breeds in Italy!) and our lovely Group Winning MULTICH Il Cagnolino Gemma. Gemma is after the fantastic sire Nubiad’Versace. Among his credits - and despite only being used very limited - he sired both World Winners in 2017.

We are really looking forward to this combination with extra expectations as it will be the first litter after our top winning Lexia.

Temperament: Sweet and loving, and with lots of self-awareness – never doubting that she is the primadonna of the household. She feels like a Queen and expects to be treated like one. Lots of soft blankets are very much appreciated and snow and cold weather are not her favorites.

Lexia is the result of more than 30 years carefully breeding at “Il Cagnolino” and dating back to the very first Italian Sighthound we got back in the 80´ies.

Don´t hesite to contact us if you are interested in our next litter!
