In the new episodes, it gets a bit more meta than usual as they film High School Musical 4: The Reunion, and we get several appearances from OG cast members of the original movie franchise.
However, there were some notably missing, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t an effort to get them on.
In recent interviews, series creator and showrunner Tim Federle revealed he had reached out to everyone.
David Harbour, who starred in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice alongside Lily back in 2010, came out to show his support.
Here’s the synopsis: “Life in a small town is always hard, but what about a small town that’s about to be hit with a once-in-a-lifetime snowstorm? That’s what the citizens of Owl, North Dakota are about to experience in the winter of 1984. This snowstorm – and the leadup to it – brings together three very different people: nostalgic football fan Horace (Ed Harris), newbie teacher Julia (Rabe), and depressed quarterback Mitch (Rosenstein).”

Vanessa Hudgens shows off a serious winged liner while attending the2023 Met Gala held at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 34-year-old High School Musical alum attended the annual event for her third time.
This year, she wore a custom Michael Kors Collection black-and-white chiffon jersey draped gown with a leg slit, contrasting train and black hand-embroidered sequin flowers.
The flower appliqués required 24 hours of handwork each, and were created by embossing individual, hand-embroidered sequin petals that were fused to a silk base for life-like volume.
Earlier in the night, Vanessa shared the makeup look that designer Michael Kors wanted to go with her dress.
“@michaelkors wanted galactic ballerina glam- so that’s exactly what we did 😉” she shared on Instagram.
FYI: Vanessa completed her look with Roberto Coin jewelry.
