Spearhead Africa, has been named the first ICOM+IN agency representative in Tanzania, becoming the eighth
agency member in the region. ICOM+IN is the world’s largest and broadest independent advertising and marketing
communications network.
By joining forces with the ICOM+IN Network, Spearhead benefits from a powerful
international resource that will be used for the benefit of all its clients.
Spearhead, the first new member appointed since the combination of the ICOM and IN networks was announced
in July, joins current ICOM+IN agencies in Angola, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia as
the foundation of the Africa region.

ICOM+IN and its international office and Managing Director, Gary Burandt, are based in Rollinsville, Colorado
(USA), and works closely with the group’s EMEA office, coordinated from Paris.
The ICOM+IN international
network, with more than 100 agencies, had its genesis in 1950 and today has the largest number of agencies of any
global network offering the broadest and most effective geographic coverage on every continent.
The current
billings of the new network are expected to over US$3.5 billion, with a gross income exceeding US$500 million.
The ICOM+IN network, with its expanded global presence of integrated agencies in developed, as well as new and
emerging markets and represented regionally in Sub-Saharan Africa by the Volcano Advertising Group in South
Africa is enhanced by specialist agencies in areas such as digital, branding, social media, mobile, media, public
relations, ethnic marketing, as well as expertise in categories such as FMCG, healthcare and luxury goods.
The ICOM+IN network is organized into five major regions: North America, Latin America, Asia/Pacific, Europe,
Middle East/ North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, with regional centers in Atlanta, Sao Paulo, Paris, Bangkok,
Cairo and Johannesburg.
