It takes a lot of very special and talented people to keep our Zoo going – over 30 actually! Whilst the roles within the Zoo are incredibly varied, each of our team have one thing in common and that’s a shared passion for our animals, our grounds and the work we do.
The Welsh Mountain Zoo is one of Wales’ leading attractions that not only provides a fantastic day out for its many visitors, but carries out vital conservation work on a global scale.
It takes a lot of very talented and extraordinary people here to keep our amazing Zoo running. We have over 700 animals, with 37 acres of woodland and landscaped ground, two restaurants and numerous educational and recreational facilities. It really does involve lots of very special people to help keep us fully operational 364 days a year.
