When I purchased it I was seeking teaching and behavioral therapies, to include in IEP requests. The information was intriguing, but there was little I could do with it on my own. So, while "nice to know", the usefulness of the book was a bust. I didn't even see a section on how to find these practioners in your area.
To boot, the interest I do have in biomedical interventions is in hyperbarric chambers and those were not even mentioned.

There are many more. Carefully researched but very readable, this is a book for parents, medical professionals, or anyone who wants to improve the life of an autistic child they care about. There are so many unknowns surrounding autism--it's thrilling and very encouraging to get an inside view of the progress being made to understand and treat it.
