Stewart Golf Z1 Push Cart

By: Golf Shake | Mon 23 May 2011

I’ve been carrier of my golf bag for many, many years and recently I was given the opportunity to try out a new trolley from Stewart Golf to see if it made a difference.

I’d played the day before as well so my shoulders were aching a bit so I jumped at the chance to test out some new kit.
It was Stewart Golf’s first non-powered trolley: The Z1 Push.

Bright pink (but I didn’t mind that) three wheels for easier movement and everything else you would want from a trolley: Drinks holder, ball and tee compartment, scorecard and umbrella holder.

I was really surprised with how light it was pushing it. As I said I hadn’t pushed for years and going up the first fairway it was easy to just walk along pushing the trolley with just one finger it was that light.

I'd fully reccomend to anyone wanting a push trolley to go and get a Stewart Z1 push.

Stewart Golf prides themselves on excellent build quality and as designers and engineers they always stick to their principles of on-course stability, easy to use and easy to fold away and the Z1 achieves all of those points.

“The Z1 Push is a great product for golfers who don’t want to carry but also don’t want a powered machine.” Stewart Golf MD Mark Stewart said.

“Push trolleys are becoming more popular as golfers realise that pulling a trolley puts unnatural stresses and strains on the arms and back. The Z1 Push takes all of the weight of the bag, so the golfer just has to apply a small forward force.”

The Z1 Push has been designed with a simple two step folding mechanism which allows set up or break down in just a few seconds. When in its most compact state, the Z1 Push is the smallest push cart on the market (just 27cm x 27cm x 66.5cm) and weighs just 6kg.

The upper and lower bag stays have been designed for all golf bags; anything from a small stand bag to a full sized staff bag can be accommodated with ease. Stand bags can be mounted ‘the right way up’ due to the wide upper & lower jaws, a feature that is unique to the Z1 Push.

Other features on the trolley are:

  • Three quick release wheels for an even smaller compact state.
  • Strong yet lightweight aero aluminium construction.
  • Adjustable and padded top and bottom bag stays hold any bag tightly in place.
  • Simple foot operated parking brake.
  • Fully adjustable handle with soft grip.
  • 4 Colours: Metallic Red, Metallic Black, Ice White & Pink.

RRP is £179 and for more information on the Z1 or any other luxury trolleys from Stewart Golf visit www.stewartgolf.com
