TYC MISSION STATEMENT
Members of TYC accept to perform the following tasks :
- To dedicate oneself to the task of serving one’s country and people under the guidance of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Spiritual and Temporal Ruler of Tibet.
- To promote and protect national unity and integrity by giving up all distinctions based on religion, regionalism or status.
- To work for the preservation and promotion of religion and Tibet’s unique culture and traditions.
- To struggle for the total independence of Tibet even at the cost of one’s life.
TYC also organises cultural exhibitions and festivals to create awareness among the people of the world of Tibet’s culture. Social & Educational: TYC engages in a wide variety of activities aimed at helping those in need and alleviating some of the most urgent social and educational problems. These range from organisms broom squads to building public toilets, conducting health education programmes to blood donation, holding adult education classes to starting schools and planting trees.

TYC President Gonpo Dhundup, along with the President and executive members of Doon area, attended the funeral of the Late Gyari Dorje Yudron. Tibetan Youth Congress extends prayers and thoughts to the departed soul and condolences to Kungoe Gyari Dolma la and other family members.
MEETING WITH ESTONIAN DELEGATION AT TYC OFFICE
TYC Joint Secretary Mr Tsering Choephel la and Information Secretary Miss Lhamo la met with the Estonian delegation, alongside representatives from other Tibetan organizations, to discuss the current critical situation in Tibet and provide insights into the operations of Tibetan organizations.
NHK the Popular Japanese public broadcaster visit TYC Office
The president Gonpo Dhundup and the Information Secretary Tenzin Lhamo of the Tibetan Youth Congress met with media personnel from NHK, the popular Japanese public broadcaster, to discuss a wide range of topics related to Tibet.

Meeting with US Delegation In Dharamshala
TYC President Gonpo Dhundup and Media Manager Tenzin Lobsang had a meeting with Mr. William J. O’Connor and Mr. Robin Bansel of the US Embassy, along with representatives from other NGOs. INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT GROUP CONFERENCE (BELGIUM)
Tibetan Youth Congress president Mr. Gonpo Dhundup joined in a four-day International Tibet support group conference convened in Belgium by the Department of Information and International Relations of CTA. With over 170 participants from 42 countries, the discussions focused on the urgent situation in Tibet and efforts to strengthen the international campaign for Tibet’s cause.
