LEGO Star Wars turns 25 this year, and as part of the celebrations LEGO is releasing the Starship Collection. As you can guess from the name, this is a series of iconic starships from all over the franshice. As of writing, only 3 sets are released, but I asume more will follow? And seeing the Tantive IV is the very first starship to ever apear on the big screen, I figured it would make sense to pick 75376-1 Tantive IV to take a closer look.

The RebrickMat is a large 90cm x 40cm deskpad sized rubber mat, with various design and reference data printed on the top. It's a great surface to use when building LEGO Sets/MOCs, or just to use as a fancy mouse pad. It is available now from our Rebrickable Merch Store.

I've said it before: I'm not really a bike (or even car) person. But after reviewing 42159-1 Yamaha MT-10 SP last year, I have started to like the Technic versions: they are compact builds with the Technic functions squeezed in a tight space, while the frame features parts in complex angles. Where the 42159-1 is made out of 1478 parts, today's bike is considerably smaller.

It's May, time to get ready for Summer (or Winter, depending on your location). Traditionally, this is a time when a large wave of new sets will be released, and we've put all known 2024 sets that will be released between June and August in a nice overview for you. What a year 2024 is turning out to be; we're being overloaded with Space sets from all directions. Friends, City, Creator, Technic, Creator and even Duplo have joined forces to revive my childhood memories. And now, the Collectible Minifigures theme joins in with 70146 Series 26, bringing us 12 Space-themed minifigs.

One more Space 2024 set, this time from a theme we don't usually pay much attention to. But who could resist the cutest solar system ever made!?

For those who aren't familiar Classic is the entry level theme for kids graduating from Duplo. They often contain a good variety of parts in an array of colors. The idea is to inspire creativity without relying too much upon instructions. The builds tend to be small and simple, but the set comes with more parts for you to build the provided inspiration models (with no build steps) or be creative yourself.

Dungeons & Dragons is one of those cultural phenomena that most people will have heard of, but a lot of them are not 100% sure what it is. This includes me, as I am aware of its existence, but I have never actually played the game myself. My oldest 2 daughters have shown some interest in the game lately though, and they've been asking me to help set up a campaign for them. And after the annoucement of today's set: 21348-1 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale, the time feels right to dive in.

For those that missed my live build of the X-Jet, here's a quick review summary of the set.

Based on the new X-Men cartoon X-Men '97 the nostalgia is high with this one. The show is a continuation of the 90's cartoon which ended in 1997. This cartoon is considered to be the inspiration behind Fox taking a risk on the first X-Men movie in 2000. That movie re-launched comic book movies which had been mostly killed off by a certain cold Austrian.

Celebrating with your family surely is a common tradition in (probably) all cultures. This new set takes a special look at this tradition in China on the Spring Festival as final (15th) day of the new years celebrations. In China many people work away from their families and that's why the family reunion during the new years celebrations is an very important cultural aspect for those.

In these opening I usually make some terrible pun or riff of a quote from the sets subject matters. Today though I'm not gonna do that. Today bad Dad jokes and puns are avoided in my intro. However regarding the rest of my review, it is inevitable.
